The Cottonwood Mutual Water Company recently had a teir 2 water quality violation related to our bacteriological sampling. Our sampling showed the presence of coliform bacteria, but E. coli was absent. We disinfected the distribution system and are pleased to report that subsequent sampling after disinfection has been absent for bacteria.
